Photos Neon in Las Vegas – Neon Signs and lights

Searching for photos of Neon in Las Vegas? On photoslasvegas.com you also can enjoy images of neon, neon signs in Las Vegas. Vegas has become known around the world as the “City of Lights”. This is one of the reasons why I love this beautiful city. I’m really not alone in this.

I especially enjoy the beautiful neons in Las Vegas. You will find the most beautiful neons in Downtown Las Vegas. On The Strip in Las Vegas you come across less and less Neons. Here you will find large LED screens. Off Strip you will also find beautiful Neon Signs.

Neon was discovered in 1898 by the British chemists Sir William Ramsay (1852–1916) and Morris W. Travers (1872–1961) in London. Neon is a chemical element with the symbol Ne and atomic number 10. It is a noble gas. Neon is a colorless, odorless, inert monatomic gas under standard conditions, with about two-thirds the density of air. Neon gives a distinct reddish-orange glow when used in low-voltage neon glow lamps, high-voltage discharge tubes and neon advertising signs.
